
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced the launch of a new initiative to enhance tourism and investment in Madhya Pradesh during the 39th annual conference of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) held in Bhopal. He highlighted attractions such as the Vedic clock in Ujjain and the thriving tourism scene in Bhopal. Yadav praised the efforts India is making in various sectors, including tourism, and commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting India's global significance. The event also featured the launch of the IATO manual and screening of a film, with the late M L Rajdan of Rajdan Holidays posthumously receiving the Hall of Fame Award. Puneet Chhatwal, MD and CEO of Indian Hotel Company Limited, was also recognized during the conference. Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Sheo Shekhar Shukla, expressed confidence that the IATO Madhya Pradesh Convention would set a standard for future events and urged delegates to explore the state's heritage and promote it as a tourist destination for both domestic and international visitors. The conference also included a cultural presentation titled "Enchanting Madhya Pradesh: The heartland of India."The presentation featured a 40-minute dance performance by 53 artists that highlighted the historical grandeur and natural beauty of the state. Kailash Sisodia and his group from Dhar also mesmerized the audience of tour operators from different parts of the country with a traditional Bhagoria dance of the Bhil tribe.
